Mainz children's speech test 1, 2 and 3

The best-known and most widely used speech comprehension test for children. The three-part speech comprehension test is graded by difficulty to match the child's age and vocabulary. Part 1 is suitable for children under 4, part 2 for children aged 4-5 and part 3 for children aged 6-8. The test words come from the initial vocabulary of toddlers and of hearing-impaired children. They are rich in vowels and easy to lip-read.

Göttingen children's speech comprehension test 1 and 2

Part 1 is designed for speech audiometry in kindergarten-age and developmentally delayed children  (approx. 3-4 years) using monosyllables. Part 2 is designed for speech audiometry in preschool children (approx. 5-6 years) using monosyllables. 

Special picture material is available for parts 1 and 2. A combination of four pictures is offered for each test word. This makes the test largely independent of the child's speech development.
