The speech comprehension test for toddlers contains an age-appropriate selection of test words which the child repeats or, in the sentence test, confirms through a play action. (Word test for preschool children, sentence test with a prompt for a play action, modified Freiburg speech comprehension test for school children.) The sentence test prompts a play action, so the test results are free of errors related to the child's ability to speak. Age-specific reference values are available.
