SmartEP – Advanced Research Module

Extends SmartEP with additional control over the acquisition timeline and stimulation: free positioning of the stimulus onset, mixing of two stimuli per ear and a freely definable start of the waveform recording – for example for frequency-dependent responses or responses to stimuli in noise.

Included research modalities

P50 suppression (double-stimulus paradigm)
CLAD (continuous loop averaging deconvolution) for very high stimulation rates
High-frequency stimulation (with ER-2 insert earphones or high-frequency transducers)

Please note: These modalities are intended exclusively for research use. A device that has been used for animal research may no longer be used on humans.
